TWS is a small family run company with years of experience in the double glazing industry and one thing we have noticed over the years is how much additional costs there are when you buy from most window companies, which puts up the price of your windows!

The reason for this is quite simple they have so many overheads in commisions and marketing costs that it goes onto the cost of your windows!

Here is a list of what exactly you are paying for when you buy your windows:

A typical house costing £4000+vat.
You would pay between 8 to 15% for the sales rep who comes to see you and takes the order.
Then you pay another 5% commision to the sales manager!
Next you have the marketing costs e.g advertising, canvessors etc. at another 10% on average.
Thus costing you £1200 hidden in the price of your windows!

Well we have the solution!

Buy your windows from us on a supply only basis then either fit them yourself or get a local freelance window fitter or your local builder to fit them for you, saving a fortune on the cost of your windows!

The only thing you need then to do is register with your local authority that you intend to change the windows they will send you a form to fill in, then pay the registration fee to the local council and after the windows are fitted they will then send an inspector around and they will send you a certificate which is similar to fensa.
